Learner Survey Overview
With the Learner Survey functionality, you can get insights about how the learners in your organization are using GLOBIS Unlimited by sending them a survey about their learning habits and study impressions.
Creating a New Survey
In order to create a Learner Survey, please add all the learners that you would like to get information from in the same group. After that, you will be able to create a survey for them by accessing the Learner Survey tab and clicking on New Learner Survey. You can also easily copy a Learner Survey created before by using the Duplicate Learner Survey option.
Fixed Questions and Flexible Questions
Surveys are comprised of fixed questions and flexible questions. Fixed questions are questions made by GLOBIS that cannot be edited or removed from any survey. On the other hand, admins are free to add, remove or edit flexible questions to their liking. For flexible questions, you can choose the question type (5-points scale, free response, multiple-choice or single-choice) and select if the learner is required to answer it or not.
Changing Settings and Checking Answers
After creating your survey, you can change its settings and check the responses received so far by selecting the corresponding option in the survey details page.
Survey Questions: A preview of your survey will be available here. If you want to edit the name, description or the questions of your survey, please click on the Edit button. You are required to set a name to the survey in order to publish it.
Email Settings: You can set the subject of the email notification that will be sent to the learners when a survey is published here. You are required to set the subject of the email notification in order to publish the survey.
Learner Status: You can check which learners have answered the survey so far and also resend the survey notification if necessary.
Result Analysis: You can see a quick analysis of the survey's results here. If you want to see the full data, please generate the CSV with the learners' answers.
Publishing Your Survey
After setting up your Learner Survey, you can either publish it immediately or schedule a later date to have it published. When a Learner Survey is published, all the learners in the group will receive an email notification with an exclusive URL to answer it.
You can add new learners to a group even if there is already a Learner Survey published for them. In this case, the new learners will receive an email notification about the survey at the moment they are added to the group.
Please be aware that learners will be able to edit their response to the Learner Survey as long as the survey is set to Published. If you don't want learners to edit their responses anymore, please set the survey back to Draft.
How Learner Surveys Are Displayed to Learners
When the learners click on the URL that is sent to them, they will be redirected to an exclusive page where they can submit their answers to the survey.
