GLOBIS Unlimited will be making changes in how corporate learner data is structured on its database soon. This restructure will allow us to provide a seamless user experience for both business admins and learners, including the addition of new features. Please see below for more details.
Why are we making this change?
Currently, when business clients apply for our service, a new ID is created for each learner, even if they have used GLOBIS Unlimited previously. As a result, returning learners must manually transfer their previous history to their new ID through the Learning Environment to continue from where they left off.
After the data restrucuture, automatic history transfer will happen for all business learners from the same company (with the same Corporate ID) who use the same email address registered previously in our system. This update will enhance the learner experience and make management easier for admins.
When the data restructure will happen?
The data restructure will happen on November 19, 2024 (Tuesday) and all business learners will get a single unique ID on this day. Applications for GLOBIS Unlimited that start on or after November 21, 2024 (Thursday) will include the automatic history transfer for all returning learners, as long as they met the necessary criteria (same company and same email address). Learners that don't match this criteria will still have the option to manually transfer their history.
What will change after the data restructure?
The main updates in our system following the data restructure are as follow:
- Learning history transfer will happen automatically for returning learners.
- Returning learners will stay enrolled in their previous Groups and Custom Learning Paths, eliminating the need for admins to add them at each new contract.
- The learning data displayed in the Admin Dashboard for each learner will be the cumulative total learning history (including previous and current contracts). To extract data from a specific time period, please use the newly implemented "selected period" filter in the Generate CSV.
We are committed to enhancing our services for admins and learners alike. If you have any questions or need further assistance regarding this update, please don't hesitate to contact us.
